Himalayan Monal /Lophophorus impeyanus/

This pheasant lives in Asia: from Afghanistan to Tibet and Myanmar. It is listed in Appendix I of CITES. Males feathers have metallic shine. Monal mainly feeds on plants and insects. It is national bird of Nepal.
